Clubs operating 16 or more electronic gaming machines are reporting entities under the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (Cth). 

Barrington Education Group in partnership with Barrington Training Services (RTO 91397), Barrington College Australia (RTO 45030) and Leagues Club Australia has built a purpose designed Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing training program for the registered club industry.

Audience

Designed for registered club professionals responsible for governance, compliance, risk, gaming, finance and customer-facing operations, including Directors, CEOs, senior managers, AML/CTF Compliance Officers and relevant operational staff.

Job Outcomes

The aim of this course is to equip hospitality and gaming venue staff with the practical knowledge and confidence to identify, document and report suspicious activity, understand their AML/CTF obligations and maintain ongoing compliance with AUSTRAC requirements.

Course Information

This course is designed to suit Gaming and hospitality staff, supervisors and duty managers in venues, senior leadership with governance responsibilities, AML/CTF Compliance officers and club directors.

No entry requirements

Students are asked to bring a laptop or tablet and charger for use during the training. If you do not have access to a suitable device, please speak with our team during the enrolment process to discuss alternative arrangements.

This qualification will be delivered through face-to-face workshops or virtually.
